BEAUTIFUL BAJA

Some places hold so many core memories that they begin to feel like home. This is the place that turned my childhood dreams into a lifelong passion. I was 19 years old when I first visited Bahia de Los Angeles, fresh out of high school and with an innate desire to see the world and tell the stories of our planet's vulnerable wildlife. I went to study marine biology at my local college, where I met Charlie @silversharkadventures, who was one of my teachers at the time. We encountered Bryde’s whales, bottlenose dolphins, green sea turtles, Cortez Angel fish, mangroves, endemic chuckwallas, and so much more. I experienced the raw beauty and power of the Sea of Cortez I had always dreamt about.

Since then, I have been fortunate enough to return many times, exploring Baja across its wild range. I have been witness to so many incredible moments with wildlife, moments I couldn’t even imagine if I tried. Although I am not from this land, I am beyond grateful to the local communities that have been willing to share their land, sea, and wildlife with me. Thank you to my @silversharkadventures and @latitude.encounters families for making every new adventure so much fun.
